Squamish Downtown Neighbourhood Plan

EcoPlan worked with a larger project team to update and finalize the Squamish Downtown Neighbourhood Plan. As part of the Downtown Squamish Transformation Initiative, the project included a substantial economic development review to ensure that the revised plan addresses existing economic challenges, better integrates economic development with cross-cutting themes (e.g. health and well-being, arts and culture, transportation), and helps expedite Squamish Downtown’s ongoing revitalization initiatives. In addition to the economic development component, EcoPlan helped coordinate community engagement, led project mapping, and supported broader policy development and design guideline review.
