Electoral Area “D-1” OCP Update

EcoPlan led a larger project team that included the Arlington Group on an update of the Official Community Plan for Electoral Area “D-1” in the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS). With a small and dispersed rural population, the project has employed a range of engagement techniques to ensure the process remains community driven. In addition to open houses (including one of the largest and most successful open houses held in the regional district), surveys, and online tools, engagement has also included the establishment of a 12-member volunteer Citizens’ Committee.
