Powell River Regional District Zoning Materials

Following the 2013 adoption of the Official Community Plan (OCP) for Electoral Area C, the Powell River Regional District (PRRD) contracted EcoPlan to support a community engagement process to gauge community interest in developing a “companion land use bylaw” to help support the implementation of the OCP. EcoPlan researched, wrote and laid out the information materials and supported the PRRD with the production of a feedback questionnaire for the workshops. The materials used plain language and illustrative graphics to clearly communicate what land use bylaws are, how they work, what type were being explored by the PRRD, and how they would support OCP implementation.
