David is an urban designer, planner, and community engagement specialist with expertise in sustainable community design, land use planning, visual modeling, GIS, public engagement, participatory design and planning, low-impact development, and green building and affordable housing construction. David has worked with communities across North America, including cities, small towns, and First Nations on strategic community plans, land use, and development plans. David holds a master’s degree in landscape architecture and a BSc in environmental design. He has received awards for his community-service focused work from both the Canadian and American Societies of Landscape Architecture, the Planning Institute of BC, and the Canadian Institute of Planners.
