Amanda has over 20 years of experience in community development, health promotion, and social change. She is known for her ability to build common ground and foster collaboration across diverse sectors, perspectives, and knowledge systems. Amanda specializes in designing and facilitating collaborative planning processes that help people identify, analyze, and implement solutions together. She works with Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations across the non-profit, public, and private sectors to develop a wide range of plans—including strategic plans, food system plans, community-led conservation and restoration plans, and land relationship plans. Amanda holds a Master’s in Public Health, a Graduate Diploma in Community Economic Development, and a BSc in Environmental Health. She is driven by her commitment to community self-determination, participatory planning and ongoing learning.
