Deanna is a research intern at EcoPlan with a background in natural resource management, community and regional planning, Indigenous Community Planning, public engagement and facilitation, and conflict management. She has supported a variety of projects for clients, including for First Nations, municipalities, and regional districts. Deanna holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology (with distinction) from Carleton University. She is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Resource and Environmental Planning from Simon Fraser University. Her research focuses on Indigenous health and emergency management in the light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
